Second Order Consulting runs revenue leakage diagnostics for home service operators in central Ohio — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing businesses that are losing measurable revenue between job creation, completion, invoicing, and follow-up.

Many home service businesses lose measurable revenue each month in the gaps between the CRM, the call log, the invoice, and the technician's paperwork. The losses compound silently while the owner is focused on lead volume and crew utilization.

I built a deterministic diagnostic engine that analyzes operational data exports from ServiceTitan, HouseCall Pro, AccuLynx, JobNimbus, and similar systems. The diagnostic quantifies where revenue is being lost across five operational categories: demand capture, call handling, scheduling and no-shows, opportunity follow-up, and retention. Where the data supports it, it estimates recoverable revenue exposure and identifies the operational mechanism behind each finding.

The output is a deliverable the owner can act on — not a strategy deck.

Before Second Order, I built measurement systems at Nationwide Financial, brand and analytics frameworks at Abbott Nutrition, and data governance infrastructure at the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. The through-line across all of it is the same: build measurement people trust and identify the highest-leverage operational friction.

Initial operator assessments are currently being conducted with select central Ohio businesses.

Led cross-functional analytics at Nationwide Financial connecting marketing activity to policy conversion. Identified structural funnel gaps that drove a 50% year-over-year increase in policy bundle binds.

Brand & Portfolio Management

Managed channel performance and budget for Abbott Nutrition's therapeutic nutrition portfolio (Ensure, Glucerna, Juven), contributing to 10% portfolio growth across two consecutive years.

Operations & Data Governance

Contracted with the Columbus Regional Airport Authority to define KPI structures, partner with IT on API integrations, and author data governance SOPs across planning and engineering departments.
